This listing is for a handmade metal barn door pull (handle). The price is for each pull and includes shipping and any applicable taxes. Current fulfillment is apx. 4 weeks from order for quantities less than 10/ea. Contact first for orders greater than 10/ea. Inquiries are welcome.
The "handle" portion is made from two separate pieces round bar stock which is formed in a way that allows the two pieces to interlock into a knot. The mounting plate is then cut to size and then the edges peened to scallop them. After drilling the mounting holes in the plate, the handle's pieces are welded together.
The final touch is a baked linseed oil finish. This is a protective coating but is very beautiful and traditional also. The effect is of a classic, wrought-iron-like appearance and is primarily black with brown/copper tones which show when seen from different perspectives.
Overall size is apx. 9" tall and apx. 1-1/2" wide at the mounting plate. The handle will extend from the surface it's mounted to apx. 2-1/4" outward from the surface. Weight is apx. 1 lb-2 oz. per handle. I will furnish two screws with each handle. The screws are #10 X 1" Phillips head and have a black phosphate finish.
