A little about Beanpole...
(un)Common Work
I specialize in handmade furnishings comprised in part or in whole of a steel medium, made one-at-a-time, with flexibility to customize finish, size, and materials for each piece. Many items are "one of a kind" and made to suit a specific purpose or need. Others, candle holders for example, are more prolific but each one is made by hand and no two are exactly the same. |
Custom Work
Custom work or commissions are available on a limited basis. I will work with you to coordinate each step to ensure satisfaction. These cases must be considered job by job. A quote can be made if the job is well defined, or work can be done to an estimate if the job is subject to change. I am open to custom furnishings, fixtures, repairs, etc. Like something I have, but would like it a made a bit different? Saw something somewhere you'd like to have made? Have something metal needing repair? Just let me know! |
Meet the Owner
My name is Jeff, and I do business under the name of Beanpole. I was born and raised in West Texas. I tend to be easygoing and am a tee shirt-and-jeans kind of person, but I do have a formal education with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Engineering at Texas Tech University. I have 20 years' experience in mechanical design and manufacturing covering many areas; bidding and quoting, design and testing, overseeing production and assembly, troubleshooting, and customer relations. I have done metalwork as a hobby for over 30 years now having bought a Miller Thunderbolt 225 stick welder when I was age 12, which I still own and use on occasion today. My focus is in furnishings, but I have completed a wide range of projects...maybe there is something I can do for you! |
